1. About FNCompFinder

FNCompFinder is an independent competitive Fortnite community platform operated through fncompfinder.com. It helps players browse tournaments, create Looking for Teammate (LFT) profiles, and research potential teammates. FNCompFinder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When account and profile features are available, you may provide an Epic display name, region, division, competitive role, desired teammate role, average ping, LFT status, profile biography, tournament selections, and support messages.

Epic Games sign-in information

If you choose Sign in with Epic Games, Epic may provide FNCompFinder with an account identifier, display name, and other information you approve on Epic’s consent screen. Epic handles your login credentials. FNCompFinder does not receive or store your Epic Games password.

Competitive and tournament information

We may display tournament results, rankings, earnings estimates, and competitive statistics obtained from authorized data providers or publicly available competitive sources. We may associate this information with a claimed player profile.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. We may use browser storage or similar technologies to remember settings such as LFT status and region preferences.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate users and connect an Epic account to the correct FNCompFinder profile.
• Create, manage, and display competitive profiles and tournament LFT listings.
• Help players evaluate and contact potential teammates safely.
• Prevent spam, impersonation, fraud, harassment, and other abuse.
• Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

4. What becomes public

Information placed on a competitive profile may be visible publicly, including display name, region, division, role, desired teammate role, LFT status, ping, competitive statistics, rankings, earnings estimates, and tournament results. Do not include private contact information or sensitive personal information in your profile biography.

5. When information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, and operate FNCompFinder; with Epic Games when necessary to provide Epic account authentication; when required by law; or when reasonably necessary to protect users, FNCompFinder, or the public. We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request that we delete your FNCompFinder account or correct profile information by emailing support@fncompfinder.com. Some limited records may be retained where required for security or legal compliance.

7. Age requirements

FNCompFinder is not directed to children under 13. Users must be at least 13 years old and must meet any higher minimum age required in their country. Players under the age of legal majority should use the service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

8. Security and your choices

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You may choose not to sign in with Epic Games, limit the information you add to your profile, turn off LFT status, or request account deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as FNCompFinder adds new features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
